Swami Kriyananda has devoted his life to awakening the love of God in countless hearts. He has taught ancient techniques of meditation and self-mastery that anyone may use to profoundly deepen their spiritual life. One of the leading exponents of Yoga in the world today, he makes his home today in India, where millions watch his daily television broadcast on Yoga and spirituality. This year is his 60th anniversary of discipleship to the Indian Yoga master, Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi.

The small communities solution
Visit an intentional spiritual community that has been active in the heart of Silicon Valley for 15 years. Ananda Community in Mountain View is also one of the largest urban co-housing communities in the United States. Tour the community and learn about cooperative living, meditation and yoga training, spiritual education for children, and ways to integrate spirituality with daily life. Swami will speak at 4 pm, joined by several of Ananda's founding members.

Spiritual Renewal Week at Ananda Village
Join people from around the world to celebrate this annual week of spiritual renewal near Nevada City, CA. Swami will give satsangs throughout the week in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater overlooking Lotus Lake. Guests may participate in meditation and yoga sessions offered daily. This is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of two memorable anniversaries: Ananda's 40th anniversary since its founding in 1968, and the 60th anniversary of Swami Kriyananda's first meeting with Yogananda, when Yogananda initiated him into discipleship.
