The Art & Science of Meditation
Kriya Yoga offers the opportunity to prove and experience spiritual truths for oneself. By expanding the sense of identity beyond the limitations of the body to the infinite Spirit, we become able to perceive the essential oneness underlying all religions, and indeed, all of creation. A regular practice of Kriya Yoga will lead to becoming calmer, happier, more intuitive, more compassionate, and better able to face and overcome the challenges of life.
This online course presents a practical approach to meditation in the path of Kriya Yoga as taught by the great Indian master Paramhansa Yogananda (author of Autobiography of a Yogi). The techniques presented here constitute the first step towards Kriya initiation.
This two-week program consists of ten videos that offer clear and concise instructions on various topics related to beginning meditation and ways to build a personal practice. The course is sponsored by Ananda Palo Alto, one of the oldest and largest meditation centers in the San Francisco Bay Area that has trained over thousands in the art and science of meditation over the last 40 years. All the course instructors you will meet speak from the depth of their personal experience gained over years of meditation practice.
