5-7pm Meditation
7:30pm Celebration and program
Tonight we gather in gratitude and remembrance on Swami Kriyananda’s Moksha Day (the day of his passing). Moksha Day is not a day of mourning, but of joy, celebrating a great soul’s freedom and conscious return to God. It is a sacred pause to feel the living presence of a spiritual teacher whose life was an offering of love, service, and divine inspiration.
Swamiji continues to guide us. His compositions lift the heart beyond the limits of the personal self; his teachings awaken devotion and wisdom; his life reminds us that truth is meant to be lived, not merely studied. Tonight, as we listen, chant, and reflect, we do not look backward—we attune inward, where his guidance remains vibrant and real.
May this evening help us feel anew what Swamiji gave so freely: faith in our highest potential, confidence in God’s love, and the assurance that divine friendship is eternal. As we celebrate his moksha, may we recommit ourselves to living the ideals he embodied—joyfully, courageously, and in ever-deepening attunement with the Infinite.
