Special events
Saturday, 7-9pm
Honor the divine life and legacy of Lahiri Mahasaya, the yogi-householder and “avatar” who received a blessing from Babaji to make the technique of Kriya Yoga more widely available.
Saturday, 7pm • Temple
Mangalananda has shared kirtan with us many times over the years. He is a direct disciple of the great Indian mystic saint, Anandamayi Ma. The evening’s kirtan will all be invocations and praise of the Mother of the Universe, sharing in Her victorious power and love.
Saturday, 12:30-3pm • Ananda Community Courtyard
Celebrate the bounty of fall with a beautiful meal prepared by Ananda Valley Farm, and served out in the community courtyard. All food is lovingly prepared with fresh produce from the farm.
Friday, 7pm • Ananda Community
Celebrate the Festival of Lights with an evening of kirtan, meditation, and devotion. Diwali reminds us that the light of our soul shines beyond all darkness, and that through love, faith, and inner awakening, we can rediscover the Divine presence within.
Together, we will share an evening of celebration and festivity, honoring the victory of light over darkness, wisdom over ignorance, and joy over fear.
Sacred ceremony, by invitation only • Asha & Shanti
Each year, those blessed to have received the sacred technique of Kriya Yoga are invited to reaffirm their vows in a ceremony of deep beauty and grace. We also welcome those who, after a year of dedicated preparation, will be receiving Kriya for the first time.
Thursday, Service 10am • Banquet noon
Reflect on the gifts and lessons that have been given to us this year. A time for gratitude, and sharing with family and friends. Come for one or both events. Reserve your banquet spot now; this is a popular event.
