Spirit and Nature: Hike the Bay Area and Satsang

8 am - Meet at Ananda Community entrance to arrange carpools 
8:30 am - Leave from the community
Bring water, a bag lunch, and dress in layers of clothing

Join fellow enthusiastic hikers for a walk in the beautiful Henry Coe State Park. Walks are usually about 5 miles and moderate in degree of difficulty. This is one of our favorite group activities of the year, and a lovely way to connect and make friends along the way.

Nayaswami Shanti is a lifelong devotee and is now a co spiritual director here at Ananda Palo Alto. She teaches, counsels and still maintains a practice of medicine through her coaching practice of “Transformational Medicine.” Her talks are rich with stories from her life as a physician and her many years on the path. With her warmth and wisdom, she is a much-loved counselor and teacher. Shanti’s talks online.

Navashen helps others fulfill their highest potential through the Ananda teachings in a fun, positive atmosphere. Before Ananda, he was involved in operations services for baseball teams, and as Director of Operations at Facebook’s corporate fitness center. Navashen teaches meditation, and also has a gift for working with young children through nature awareness activities and guided play. He serves in many ways with kindness, a ready smile, and a deep wellspring of inner calmness.
