A Daylong Retreat with Saiganesh Sairaman and others

Saturday, August 10, 10 am-3:30 pm

Cost: $60 (lunch provided)

Optional guided meditation, 3:30-4:30 pm

Numerous scientific studies have shown how conscious breathing can influence one’s mental, emotional, and physical state. In this daylong retreat, we will focus on gaining a deeper understanding of our breath, and learn ways to use it as a tool to calm and center ourselves—both in meditation and in daily life.

Some areas we will explore include:

  • The physiology of breath and ways to achieve relaxed breathing

  • Consciously working with subtle yogic nature of breath as prana

  • Ways to deepen your meditation practice through attunement with the breath

  • Working with the breath to calm emotions and counteract stress

* A light vegetarian lunch will be provided. Please register by Friday night, if possible, so we can make sure to have enough for everyone.

** Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes.
