Celebrating the return of Lord Rama to the city of Ayodhya, Diwali is a celebration of the return of the light. Symbolic of the Soul's return to the kingdom of our own consciousness, Diwali is an opportunity for us to tune into the inner light of our own being, as well as the specific blessings of God in the form of Rama and Sita. Brief inspiring stories from the life of Rama will be told throughout the evening amidst the devotional chanting.

Unusually, he is also a lifelong student of Yogananda’s teachings, immersed since birth at Ananda Village.
