Festival of Joyful Arts

  • Ananda Temple 2171 El Camino Real Palo Alto United States (map)

Saturday afternoon at the Ananda Temple

"Spiritual awakening is accompanied by a rising energy and consciousness in the spine. In this spiritual state, one may indeed dance, laugh, and sing with unending gladness, wrapped ever in breezes of inner joy."

The Art and Science of Raja Yoga, Swami Kriyananda

In honor of Swami Kriyananda's birthday anniversary, join us for a Festival of Joyful Arts as we celebrate the arts as a medium for inspiration and upliftment.

The noble purpose of art is to uplift and transform consciousness. For both the artist and the viewer, expressions of joyful art nurture the soul and inspire new realms of spiritual awakening. When we participate in the process of creation, our attunement to the divine source of inspiration deepens and we gain access to our own infinite potential for creativity, innovation, imagination and enthusiasm.

The Festival of Joyful Arts is an opportunity to experience this deeper potential of artistic expression. Through interaction with different modalities of art, we will play, create and experience the transformative power of creativity.
