June 21-28, Ananda Village • Stream free
This year marks the 100th anniversary of Swami Kriyananda’s birth. Students and friends from around the world are invited to celebrate this event online (free) or in person, at Ananda Village near Nevada City, CA.
This may be the largest event Ananda Village has ever hosted. Register soon. Accommodations are likely to be very limited at the Village, but available in nearby Nevada City and Grass Valley.
Swamiji is the founder of the Ananda communities movement and a close, direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. He served his guru for nearly 65 years, with extraordinary creativity and energy — a fountain of books, music, classes, letters, training of many others who are gifted teachers today.
We celebrate his life with a week of classes, music, theater, meditation, and more — with hearts full of gratitude.
Note: The Temple here in Palo Alto will be closed all week, from Monday, June 22 through Sunday, June 28. There will be no Sunday service here on June 28, very unusually, but we hope you will join everyone online (free) for the service from the Village.
