An opportunity to gather in-person at the Ananda temple in Palo Alto
Saturday, Noon
This is an opportunity to help with all sorts of much-needed projects at the temple building and teaching center. Painting, cleaning, gardening, serving (and eating!) refreshments are likely tasks. The fun of the day is in joining together in joyful service, inspired by the ideals of seva (divine service) and karma yoga (selfless service—action without desire for the fruit of the action). The day is named in honor of Yogananda’s most advanced disciple, karma yogi extraordinaire, Rajarshi Janakananda.
