Living Our Sacred Vows

  • Ananda Temple 2171 El Camino Real Palo Alto, CA, 94306 United States (map)

Three Wednesdays, June 3-17, 7-8:30 pm
20/class or $45/series

Many of us take vows as a way of deepening our commitment to the spiritual path — yet we rarely have the opportunity afterward to reflect together on what it means to live those commitments day by day. Whether one has taken a vow of discipleship, a vow of life partnership, a vow within the Nayaswami order, a commitment as a Kriya Yogi, or simply holds a sincere inner resolve to grow spiritually and live in alignment with Truth, vows and commitments shape the direction and energy of our spiritual life.

Through relaxed conversation, creative exercises, and silent reflection, this series will explore the meaning and purpose of spiritual commitment. We will consider how vows support our sadhana, strengthen our dedication to Truth, and help anchor our relationship with the Divine through both steady practice and daily choices.

Together we will reflect on the timing of vows, the responsibility they carry, and the quiet blessings they bring — not as external obligations, but as expressions of love, intention, and discipleship lived in practical ways.
