Discipleship is about living with guidance, dedication, and openness to a higher truth. It’s not an abstract concept, but a way of grounding our choices, relationships, and service in something deeper.

Swami Kriyananda’s 64 years of discipleship to Yogananda offered us a living example of these ideals, showing how they can be woven into every aspect of daily living—through service, attunement, and steadfast practice.

On this 77th anniversary of his discipleship, we will reflect together on these timeless principles. Through discussion, experiential activities, and music, we’ll explore how discipleship can guide and uplift our own lives today.

The evening begins with dinner outdoors in the Piazza, featuring chai, Indian food, and Rosagullas—a Bengali dessert cherished by both Yogananda and Swami Kriyananda. Please register in advance for dinner so we can plan accordingly.
