It was a favorite pastime of Swami Kriyananda to read aloud the works of P. G. Wodehouse, his laughter filling the room and uplifting all hearts. He loved Wodehouse for his clever wit, sparkling language, and gift for reminding us not to take life too seriously. Paramhansa Yogananda, too, encouraged joy and laughter as divine qualities, expressions of the soul’s natural buoyancy.

In that spirit, join the Ananda Palo Alto Players for an evening of reader’s theater, featuring selections from P. G. Wodehouse’s timeless comedies. Together we’ll share the kind of laughter that uplifts, unites, and reminds us that joy, too, is a pathway to God.

Join us in the yoga studio for an English tea from 6:15-7:00 with finger sandwiches, snacks, desserts, and of course..tea! It will be a jolly good helping of fun!

Reader’s theater performance begins at 7:00 pm.
